Comics Translator
Mark C. Bradshaw
About Me
I'm a native Canadian English speaker, who lived for many years in France and Spain and is currently residing in Edinburgh, UK. I am well-versed in translating from French and Spanish into Canadian, American and British English.
I have an MSc in Translation Studies from the University of Edinburgh (2018) and am particularly practiced in the translation of humour, especially through comic translation. I am currently working in the emerging field of social media translation and translation for influencers.
My particular forte is humour translation, whether it involves wordplay, puns, jokes, cultural references or all of the above. For me, there's no humour that can't be translated one way or another - and I delight in taking on whatever challenge comes my way.
